Summer KICKS 2010 - Many Faces, Many Places: Exploring the world of faith and culture
Christ Lutheran Church promises another great year for the children of our community. Each Wednesday, we will gather at 9:00 AM at church for group time with the theme "Many Faces, Many Places" centering us in God's love for the world. Snacks and lunch are provided FREE. We then go on various field trips around the city, returning to Christ Lutheran at 3:00 PM. There will be an end-of-summer celebration with KICKS' participants showing what they have learned and enjoyed throughout the summer, in addition to food and games.
Our program provides a fun-filled, interactive learning experience that encourages youth to explore biblical stories through discussion, play, music, art and dance. Children have fun together on field trips throughout the city, swimming, playing, and discovering science and nature. KICKS is for children & youth, grades 1-9. There is no cost to particpate.
