Sunday Themes

March 7
The readings today deal with the tricky problem of suffering and tragedy.  Is suffering a result of sin?  Does God punish us for our mistakes?  At the heart of their message is a call for all of us to "turn."
         Isaiah 55:6-9, I Corinthians 10: 1-5,11-13, Luke 13:1-9

March 14
"What's new?"  We get asked the question from time to time.  The readings today tell us that when we are in Christ everything is new!

Psalm 32:1-5, 10-11, I Corinthians 5:16-21, Luke 15:11b-32, Luke 15:11b-32

March 21
Our readings today are about prioritizing.  What really matters?
          Psalm 126, Philippians 3:4b-14, John 12:1-8

March 28
The readings today show Jesus on the move, on a journey, on a downward path.  His path leads to death.  What a wonderful God!
          Philippians 2:5-11, Luke 19:28-40
